    The slaves were all gone except Biddy and Cato. Mary tries to cmfort the British man named Sergeant Glen. Mary and Joseph send letters to the soliders about their family but sent them with Captain Harkins. They find out about how they got Biddy. She was being sold in near Waxhaw. She had a baby in her arms, it was a little girl. The child died one night in its sleep. They also found out that Captain Harkins had a baby boy that he had never seen before.Then Joseph runs outside and yells come home father, comehome and set things straight.
